I am an Assistant Professor in the Department of Agricultural and Consumer Economics at the University of Illinois Urbana Champaign. I grew up in a rural farming community in Iowa where uncertainty in agricultural production and marketing influenced family and friends on a daily basis. Consequently, I have always been intrigued by the choices farmers make to address uncertainty in their operations, and am particularly interested in researching how individuals within the agricultural supply chain use contracts to manage risk and align incentives.

You can find out more about my research, extension, and teaching interests using the links above.  Thanks for visiting my website!
